We Believe

The sole basis of our faith is the Bible, which is uniquely God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters on which it bears. For illustration, and perhaps to the surprise of many in the Christian community doubting the 6-day account of creation, evolution turns out to be a huge lie (nothing to do with science whatsoever) that can easily be proven false without even using the Bible. Yes, without using the Bible. Ironically, the laws and principles of science itself can be used to refute the comical theory of evolution with its big brother, spontaneous generation.

To that end, the last 150 years worth of deceitful teaching about creation, more recently taking hold of public schools, mean nothing more than we are living in a dark time. Not only are school officials and people in the media lying to children, but parents, Christian parents, have undergone some form of mental sleep to reach a point where they would send innocent babes into those dens of evil instruction. In short, it takes more faith to believe life formed from nothing than to believe in the Bible. For the science refutations spoken of, check the Law of Biogenesis, the Laws of Statistical Probability and the 1st Law of Thermodynamics, any of them destroying what schools are teaching.

As for relationships, the Bible teaches that marriage was God's idea, and includes guidelines for successful relationships and marriage. The Bible also teaches that sex is to be reserved for people in one of those marriages. We are furthermore informed that friendships are a valuable part of the years living on this planet.

We believe that God created humans for them to become part of a family with God, but they defied God by petulantly insisting on going their own way, which created a barrier between man and his creator. As a result, we need saving grace to end our alienation from the being who made life and formed us. Salvation comes only through God's choice to extend mercy - not human effort - and must be received personally by acknowledgment of our inability to create our own righteousness, by repentance and by faith.

That faith in no way means there is any lack of evidence, even scientific, supporting the words and existence of God. Rather, it applies to believing that Jesus lived, died on the cross, and by doing so eliminated the need for men to sacrifice life for the purpose of making amends to God for the sin that separates us from fellowship with Him.

We believe that people are deeply and profoundly changed when they accept God's gift of salvation, so that they want to live in fellowship with other believers. Marriage between believers is God's ideal, and when believers marry unbelievers it is akin to marrying another species, as no soul union can ever take place.

We believe that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as a substitute, the ultimate payment for defying God. This accomplishes salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Him alone. Jesus rose from the dead and is the only mediator between us and God. He will return to earth to consummate History.

We believe the Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church. The church's role is to glorify God and serve those in need. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and the judgment. Those forgiven through Christ will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.

The Catholic Church: We believe that while many, probably most, individual Catholics are honest and humble people earnestly seeking God, the church they belong to has created and adheres to an altered Bible containing a false doctrine. To that end, the church leaders may either be themselves misled or they are knowingly defying the gift of forgiveness and a relationship with God through his Holy Spirit offered in the New Covenant. Catholic Church members and leaders are welcome on the site nonetheless. Yet due to the conflict existing between them and the people loosely known as Protestants, it may be that challenges to Catholic doctrine will be heard from time to time when interacting with members of this website.
