1 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come: Let thy will be done, even in earth, as it is in heaven:

2 Our daily bread give us for the day:

3 And forgive us our sins: for even we forgive every man that is indebted to us: And lead us not into temptation: but deliver us from evil.

Jesus is showing us what attitude we need to pray unto our FATHER; HE is not asking HIM for anything. EVERY sentence is praise; HE begins with stating WHOM HE is speaking to, by stating Father(the ONE WHOSE domain is HEAVEN!

1 HE continues by MAKING STATEMENTS OF TRUTH that our FATHER is in complete control ON earth just as it is in HEAVEN.
2. He is not telling us that we need to ask our FATHER; HE is CONTINUING to express FATHER's holiness in the FACT of providing what is sufficient for the days needs.
3. FATHER has provided salvation (FORGIVENESS) to all (US) and also given us the POWER (through the HOLY SPIRIT) to be as HIM; having that same POWER of forgiveness toward others who have wronged us. That HE not only does not put temptation in our path but provides (delivers) spiritual strength to stand fast when evil presents itself.

We know that we live daily with troubles that we fight against. We also feel that we have failed or that even GOD seems to allow our living with evil all around us.

BUT KNOW THIS !!
Matthew 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as much as is a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove: and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
