No. 0     Original Topic:  Clean Plate ...
By:  RadioPreacherMan   Gender: M   Age: 59   on  Dec 26, 2017 at 3:25 PM   Viewed 443 times
I firmly believe our plate needs to be kept clean ... in other words ... no ill-feelings ... no unforgiveness ... and no thing which bothers us about anyone.

Thank God for Jesus Christ in helping us NOW in this life ... to let us know when our plate needs cleaned ... and ... to assist us in cleaning our plate.

Let it be known ... to ALL I have intereacted with here at MC ...

My plate is clean. Praise Be to God !

goody for you  what a total joke. The Love you have for yourself, God wishes you had towards others. who are you trying to convince what a great guy you are...us or yourself? If you want to know if your plate is clean, all you had to do was ask me.

Each Christian here understands and knows the joy and peace we have in the Lord ... when we experience the cleansing of our hearts.

May others also be encourage to come to the Lord... welcome Him in their hearts ... and be cleansed by the Blood of Christ ... Amen !

May they have a clean plate too !

The cleansing is an " ongoing process."

No matter what ends up on our plate in life ( the good, the bad, the ugly ) ... we can come to the Lord in prayer ... again and again ... throughout this life.

Just like soaking our dishes in the sink ... we soak in His Love ... and whatever is stuck on our plate ... it will loosen and float to the surface.

He will lift it all off ... and set us free from whatever weighed us down ( bitterness, unforgiveness, etc. ).

We, Christians, appreciate this cleansing ... and we pray others will be drawn to the Good Lord ... and welcome what He can do for them.

I don't have to do anything and welcoming him into your heart is unbiblical. When your heart has really been cleansed, you will not longer be prideful and in love with yourself. You will no longer praise your own self what you claim you do for God.

but you dont, you praise yourself for what you claim you done for God which amounts to nothing when you should be priasing the Lord for what he did FOR YOU instead. I hope one day you do the switcharoo.

A Gift ... Given from His Heart ... to Our Heart.

There are people ... who continue to live life ... no clean plate.

So many unsettled issues ... clouding their perspective ... blind.

Not seeing as God sees ... but only in what they see.

Lack of understanding ... distorted views ... simply because ...

Their plate has never been cleansed by the Blood of Christ.

Sad ... but we can pray for them ... Amen !

Heavenly Father ...

We give You the honor and glory for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ.

As Mary conceived and received Christ in her womb ...

We, as Christians, conceived and received Christ in our hearts.

In our own helplessness ... Your own help is here for us !

Now and Forever More ... Thank You ... In Jesus' Name ... Amen !!!

We must physically die, then God resurrects us incorruptible with a clean/purified mind. Don't expect a perfect God loving person before then.

RPM ... Sometimes it is not easy forgiving when we are wronged and another is fueled against us (I say fueled because we do not battle the flesh and blood, so demonic influence is recognized [Eph 6:12]).

When we consider Christ's last words though ... we consider the 'greatest' peace and 'love' taught to us. Christ's last words:

"Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do."

He was tortured, lied about, betrayed, humiliated and murdered, but still sought forgiveness of those who wronged Him (hate is an obstacle for humans -- not God and ought not to be in a Christians's heart as it conflicts against one's soul and reason).

What a lesson!!

While we cannot control others' hearts or behavior, we need to control our own vessel (responses and choices). So a follower of Christ will leave the matter to His Just Hands who is all capable and distance ourselves from those who have chaos and treachery in their hearts over that of peace and love. Regardless with a clean plate (clean heart and soul as much as it is possible and dependent upon us) indeed. For some though their heart will never be at peace and it is sad to witness.

“If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone” (Romans 12:18 )

If you love the Lord, how could you say or even believe that? Doesn't matter to me since what you say against the Lord is between you and him, but im sure the Lord doesn't appreciate it none since its him that brings peace to a man's heart and your telling others he will NEVER, (I believe was the word you used) do it.

Some do not live up to their vow of repentance,
to disavow an oath is sin.

Yes but everyone will participate in Godly repentance whether they think so or not. No one will escape it but there are many..thousands..millions even who dont believe it. While in this physical body, we worldy repent but Godly repentance is a another ball game and its ahead in the future for everyone. There is a huge difference between worldly repentance and Godly repentance.

Well I appreciate this thread RPM (albeit it seems perhaps no one else might understand the topic)?

Every day we are renewed by Him (if in Him). How wonderful to live one's life with a clean plate (with peace as much as it is dependent upon us and in our ability).

What you have written is certainly in scripture (as given above). God bless.
