I will be posting from "Our Daily Bread" with its concluding thought at the end that is brief, thought provoking and catchy! Others are welcome to join.

 Conforming with the words of Jesus in our lives is our spiritual communion with Him according to John 6, not an invented ritual based on Paul.

God can bring times of growth out of our times of heartache.

I will not come back to respond to you as I am not after strife nor do I concur with your battles against Brethren here. Getting the last word in with strife does not bring any 'light' to the surface of dark words against anyone, let alone an Apostle of Christ.

I will respond once here and possibly the last time in regards to your persecution against Paul.

The affliction Paul had is clearly penned in scripture (it was persecution). Many fail to read. Paul was once a Pharisee until his rebirth in Christ. He suffered greater persecution while alive than many. He could not hide his past nor hide his ministry for Christ (it was well known). His love for Christ that is...

I do at times see less than humility in some of his writings and other times greater humility than shown by the 12. He is not Christ Whom is Perfect, but a Brother in Christ who has done 'more' out of his love for Christ than many who have walked this earth.

For this very reason you remain foolish in understanding Paul even with your greater studies (Paul devoted his life and death to Christ and such a love even as great as David's erases a multitude of imperfections).

Is there any greater love than to lay down one's very life for another though? Paul had a greater understanding than you or I. All your insults against this Brother and persecution will never change that very fact nor the fact that he was recognized by the 12 as an Apostle (not one of the 12, but an Apostle).

Apostle in Greek:

apostolos: a messenger, one sent on a mission, an apostle
Original Word: ἀπόστολος, ου, ὁ
Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine
Transliteration: apostolos
Phonetic Spelling: (ap-os'-tol-os)
Short Definition: an apostle, a messenger, an envoy, a delegate
Definition: a messenger, envoy, delegate, one commissioned by another to represent him in some way, especially a man sent out by Jesus Christ Himself to preach the Gospel; an apostle.

You insult the Lord Jesus when you insult whom the Lord sent to convey His message.

So it is seen.

A thought to ponder: Seek peace over persecution of another -- if you desire to do good and what is pleasing before the Lord.

You, as expected, are propping up Paul at the cost of Jesus' words. Salvation though Jesus, not through Paul! Jesus called him an 'instrument' to reach out both Jews and Gentiles. There is nothing like an apostleship for Gentiles! Secular definition has no spiritual value. :Hole::headbang::no-no:
