No. 0     Original Topic:  Eulogy Advice ... for Crayons

Sorry to hear about your friend passing on suddenly Crayons. Prayers will be offered for all of you. May God bring His comfort and strength, during this time of mourning.

I like to " connect " something about the life of the deceased with scripture. I will usually incorporated different aspects of their life that goes along with the main point to be made in the eulogy.

The main point comes down to making " one statement " that ties it all together. A statement I pray will " stick " in people's mind, after the funeral service is all over.

Again, all of you will be in my prayers.

Hi RPM --

How kind of you to create a prayer thread here for Crayons. This too is good advice:

I like to " connect " something about the life of the deceased with scripture. I will usually incorporate different aspects of their life that goes along with the main point to be made in the eulogy.

Crayons, I am saddened by the loss of your close and good worker and I lift prayer your way!

I'm not sure if you are reading the prayers and comments being made here in the Prayer Forum Crayons ... but if you are ...

I'm glad to hear you made it through the funeral service. As we prayed, I do believe God offers us His comfort during times of loss. I love how He offers His Presence, when we need Him.

It was also good to hear you were offering your presence to this family, and giving your friend's sister a financial gift too.

May God Continue to Bless You ... as You Continue to " Bless the Mess "
