I'm surprised CA is not number one on the list of States with least freedom. :-p

Not surprisingly I have considered purchasing property in 4 of those freest States years ago.

I almost bought a few hundred acres in rural New York years ago. You could get rural land pretty cheap there at one time.

But I shied away from it due to the laws and politics.

Almost bought wooded land in OK too.

As well as considered land in Alaska.

Seems I have always known New Hampshire was the freest state in the nation.

I also knew that here in Michigan we rank as more free than in Texas, as the chart shows, even though many may have thought such not logical. And I also knew my home state of Tennessee ranked up there as one of the most free.
