No. 0     Original Topic: Encouragement through the storms / end time talk / despair

Something I read today (no author was given to attribute):

The devil whispered in my ear, "you're not strong enough to withstand the storm."

Today I whispered back, "I am a child of the Lord, a man/woman of faith, a warrior of Christ.

I am the storm."

Isaiah 43:2 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you. 3"For I am the LORD your God,

That's always been one of my favorite Scriptures.

Thanks BF and RPM ... now I expected Storm to enjoy the writing before the Scripture I provided in thinking of the Hurricane/flood victims. ^-^

My main message:

FL, TX and adjoining states -- you are not alone. Where the earth might groan and storms and national disasters may come, His Love never fails (you shall be restored anew because He, that is above all is Present in your lives).

ya he ends suffering for some through death and increases the suffering for others and yes he is there every bit of the way. They are not alone but it sure feels like it every bit of the way.

My daughters friend has two small children and she was living in louisiana and due to a major ridiculous flood in 2016..a flood never seen before in the state of louisiana in a flood free zoned area..and a flood i still cant believe happened, took her home so she moves to tx to start over and this harvey again took her home in 2017. She lost two homes in two yrs back to back. I feel for her and her young kids. All i can say for that poor woman who is all emotional is thank God she has a husband to help her. But even so its hard to keep starting over from scratch every yr. I betting many folks in a position like hers are wondering where God is.

Praise God, her family survived and are in good health in facing such a situation!

My Uncle in TX had a tornado take his home three times. He started over three times. He was not touched by the floods.

So the Good Lord allows the sun and the rain to fall upon all of us (both the good and the evil) and yes, he takes some early and these he takes early does escape the evils and chaos of this world.

My Uncle nor I regret any part of our lives lived for Him (yet there might be some regrets in times we failed in our focus on this world and things that were not of the Spirit), nor would we not live through the suffering (I remember thinking as a child that perhaps it saves another from suffering)?

I can only say, we see partly today, the Lord sees all and is greater than any storm.

I betting many folks in a position like hers are wondering where God is.

Yet, He spared her very life. The world is blinded by 'things.' I see opportunity in a 'great' way for your friends. Opportunity abounds for all upon this earth if all their desire is a home. The Lord cares for even the smallest of Sparrows. The singing of sparrows is a gift to us in perspective. When we were children we could live happiest in a fort' and be happier than a claim (they are filter feeders) dining off the finest of creatures and algae particles that we can't even see with our naked human eyes.

Perception in life often defines our situations.

Just saying (there is no lack of compassion felt for your friend).

God Bless.

He does spare some people's life. But God can only do so much to a human before a human just doesnt care anymore and wants to die. Living and just existing is two different things entirely. I guess we all see things different.
