No. 0     Original Topic:  Prayers asked for my brother Mark
By:  YoBro-MOTBOC   Gender: M   Age: 63   on  Aug 29, 2017 at 9:26 AM   Viewed 1919 times
Momma called last night to tell me Mark had cancer. We do not know the details yet as he has not been released from the hospital. She did say he was having severe panic attacks. I know from experience myself that during a panic attack it is hard to even feel God's presence.

THANK YOU

Heavenly Father,

YES ... here we are ... PRAYING ... THANKING YOU ... for how YOU WILL look over those we love ... and ... KNOWING ... no matter what comes up ... YOU can handle it.

We leave the outcome of Mark's situation in YOUR HANDS ... knowing it's the BEST place to be ... and ask that YOUR PRESENCE will over-ride any anxieties Mark is experiencing at this time.

We also realize ... whatever any of us go through ... we always pray it will draw us closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ !

We give You all the praise ... for being with Mark during his time of need ... and thank You for Yo-Bro in bringing this prayer request to our attention.

In Jesus' Name ... Amen !

:group_prayer:

( Please keep us up-dated Yo-Bro with what develops in this situation.)

Amen (to prayer by RPM here).

Pastor John...you've been through so much lately and my compassion overflows with even tears in reading this.

I often think of the scripture that says we see 'partial' today (a dimly lite glass) and it rings so true the older I get (when we are young...we think we know everything, but as we get older -- questions come and we don't know the reasons 'why' a lot of the time. So I don't know why hurt comes in 'aggregates' close together...

I just pray for your brother's healing here. I believe in the Lord's healing. I have experienced it first hand. Dear Lord make it so in Pastor John's life .... your dedicated servant who loves you.

Keeping faith in knowing His Love for you, Yo-Bro! Thank you as well for keeping us updated.

Thankfully they found a small mass on one of Mark's kidneys; his daughter will be taking leave from the Army and her Active duty husband will also be active in taking care of their kids while she is here with Mark. Not sure of the operation date, but soon. I do appreciate your continued prayers. He is having to deal with panic attacks, that to me is a main concern for it can make it very difficult to keep focused on our Lord.

Along with RPM, I thank you for the update on your brother, Pastor John!

I continue to lift your entire family in prayers. He is our refuge, provider and protector. May the physicians' hands be guided and Mark's recovery and healing time be minimal as we continue to testify of His Glory even in suffering (if not especially during such times).

The Lord is Good even when the world and its offerings are not. Keeping faith and belief and prayer.
