No. 0     Original Topic: People changing

This doesn't mean they are sinfree or have a purified heart. But I just wanted to mention things I have noticed about members here.

I am most impressed with verbatim. She is at the top of my list. Her way of discussing biblical disagreements now days truely amazes me. I see alot of changes in her attitude and knowledge both. Sometimes I just want to say, "who are you and what have you done with the real verbatim?". The changes in her from yrs past to today truely impress me. There was a time when we fought so bad that I actually hated her. But today she seems so friendly even if she is disagreed with. I can see God has been in her life. She may or may not notice the changes in her but I bigtime do and im very much impressed. Today I think she is wonderful person. My goodness how things have changed over time.

Then we have stormchaser, I saw him comment to someone who talked aobut me in biblical where i cannot talk in there to defend myself. And he told them they shouldn't do that where i can't talk. Now to some it may seem to little or unimportant to even mention but it meant a great deal to me. sometimes its the little things that make a big impact on people. Also his beliefs haven't changed as far as i can tell but we can discuss things better than we use to. I dont feel any hated coming from him.

Then we have casandie. Our arguments seems to have gotten a bit less. We each still have the same belief as we always did but She use to be violent with words as far as the way she came across to me. but I dont see her as bad as she use to be. I use to hate her but today I dont. We can actually discuss and only sometimes offend each other but it use to be oh so much worse than what is today.

Then there is rpm. I didnt say the changes were always good lol. He is the only one here where changes went from Good to bad instead of bad to good. We use to get along well and talk in private all the time but sadly those days are long gone.

then there is insular. He use to constantly make threads downing LGBT to the point of me wanting to pull my hair out and I saw him as one of the most evil of men. He doesn't do that anymore and he is much nicer towards me than use to be.

I hope to see more good changes in people as time goes on.

Nice thread TCG ! :2thumbs: How about changes in you ??????????????

At least there does not seem to be the usual " complaining " ... but actually " complimenting " ... Praise God !!!

Glad to see how you have noticed the " changes " in other people here at MEET CHRISTIANS.

As far as for me ... sorry you see it that way ... but ... a few changes within you will give you some new insight on preachers. Everybody knows you don't care for preachers ... so what else is new.

I don't mind if you say whatever you want to say about me ... because it's not about me ... it's about the Good Lord ... and how He can come in your life ... and give us NEW LIFE in Christ ... expressing His life through us ... and yes ... CHANGES COME TO BE !

Amen ! Praise be to God !

You see ... I'm in the business of speaking the truth in love ... and showing others ... I will stand firm in who I am in Christ ... whether others like it or not ... because I'm not hear to see if I can have good friends ... nope ... I'm here among Christian friends !

Besides ... preachers are trained by God to have a tough hide and a tender heart ... always putting up with blind, sinful, and yes ... stupid people at times ( not calling you stupid here TCG ).

Other than that ... may this thread be a way of blessing you ... which apparently some Christian people have done ... which is good indeed !

I already know how you see preachers ... but one day ... who knows ... you may see things differently and be praising God for the preachers He has sent in your life to speak TRUTH to you ( with the Love of Christ ).

Hope you have some responses you need to hear in this thread.

See Ya Later TCG ! :Hole:

Rpm you do alwasy down me which is how we went from Good to bad. My problem with you is not that you are preacher but the way you treat me as if your better than me and I need help and your just fine and the only reason for it is because I dont agree with your doctrine therefore you lash out at me. You being on a high horse about yourself need to be knocked down a peg or two. People do not have to be a preacher to do what you do so its not aobut you being a preacher. Its about your attitude as a man. As far as changes in me, well all I can see about myself is I dont hate those who attacked me or participated in group attacks agaisnt me anymore and thats because that kind of behavior seems to be subsiding. Just like your new thread about posting complaints here. Back in the day, members were would have ran in there so fast and posted about me. That thread would have brought much darkness which i believe is why you posted that thread. Hoping for the worse for me since it is me ur accusing of complaining. Your creating that thread was an invite for all those who wanted to attack me and it would have been fun for you. A thread of pure darkness indeed. Today no one has done that yet. Another change in members thats really good.

A good question to ask yourself ... always downing others ?

Again, that's between you and God ... no need to answer me.

Now ... how many more " complaints " do you want to bring up ????

I'm not downing others, im telling them what the bible says and they don't like it sometimes. Anything you don't like about preachers and churches well God said it first. Is God wrong according to you? As far as complaints your the only one complaining and its about me as usual like your constant talk today in 3 or 4 threads some of which are yours about complainers which you have made it clear your talking about me. So since you want to talk about complainers all over the place, the best place to start.... is with you.

People can see you are not innocent and its more about if they want to be honest or not. Don't hide behind members to back you up. They dont need to lie for you.It takes two to tango not one. you keep writing and trying to anger me and falsely claim its all me. I dont know how you call yourself a christian. Its reminds me of when God was reprimanding the church and he said i know what you call yourselves..... What word do you think he was thinking about when he said that....."christian" perhaps. Yes they call themselves christian and are not.

I noticed you said, preachers were trained by God if so

why does he call them ravening wolves,
why does he say woe to the shephards that destory and lead the sheep astray,
'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will demand My sheep from them and make them cease from feeding sheep So the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore, but I will deliver My flock from their mouth, so that they will not be food for them."'"
,And they are shepherds who have no understanding; They have all turned to their own way, Each one to his unjust gain, to the last one

and on and on and on....

RPM I think is taking a break, but I will answer (albeit likely not as well as he can)...

The Lord is talking about Pastors that mislead ppl. There is such corruption in this world. Money driven and not doing the Lord's will, etc. Christ most certainly turned over the money changer's tables, but He also taught the Apostles to teach.

In prophecy we find this:

Jeremiah 3:15 “And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”

The Words of Christ:

19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Pastors though have a special calling and their dedication is one of a leadership position:

(There are levels of ability and ways [formal or informal, teaching children, teaching adults, etc.]):

James 3:1 Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. 2We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to control his whole body

(that scripture speaks about controlling one's tongue which not all can do).

1 Timothy 3:1 This is a trustworthy saying: If anyone aspires to be an overseer, he desires a noble task. 2An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,

Including here some great scriptures for Pastors:

1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”

and

Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

God said they all turned their own way. And this is why we have so many different denominations today.

Consider 'worldly' is different than those with a sincere heart toward God. We will know what is being taught is true or not through Scripture and the Holy Spirit (we do not judge unrighteously beyond what the Lord provides us in wisdom).

As far as denominations -- it's because man knows 'partially' today and they disagree over what they see partially. When Christ returns we all will see clearly. Most denominations are united in core foundational beliefs (Christ, Christ dying for our sins and risen on the 3rd day, the 66 books of the Bible are God inspired and the absolute Truth (despite disagreements about interpretation), etc.). In the real world (not MC) Christians do not quarrel (they disagree but remain respectful). MC is not an example of Christianity. There are many with beliefs here that are outside of Christian beliefs. In the real world there is far more unity.

There are always those who are not sincere though, but it doesn't change the 'truth' and those who are sincere and part of God's Kingdom. Focus on the Lord and serving Him and one's life then belongs to Him and changes occur that are unimaginable prior to this point (Christianity is not a difficult concept. Men have added their own doctrines that complicate matters. Again it does not change the truth or God's Judgement and Plans and Rule of His Kingdom).

Have a great night TCG!

I know you defend "christianity" becuase thats your doctrine but it is a fasle doctrine no different than any other religion out there that you call false doctrine. People do not know through scriptures whats true or not becaues there is too much misunderstood metaphors throughout the bible resulting in crazy teachings. If God says they all went their own way teaching their own doctrines instead of his, why would I not believe him when we have all these different kinds denominations each with different beliefs. God didnt lie.

Before I take my little break from the forums TCG ... just needed to say this ... so you will know ... you are hearing this from a Christian friend ... me ... :wavey: You may hear it from others too ...

When I see you are only " complaining " ... I will post this ...

:crybaby:

If nothing else ... it may ... just may ... help bring something to your attention ... all of the " complaining " you have been doing here on MC for soooo long ... and it's getting to be soooooo old ... to keep hearing again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again.

So again ... I will not be saying anything from here on out for a couple of weeks in the forums ... but please see this as a Christian friend ... stepping in ... and reminding you of " how not to be " ... each time you see this ... :crybaby: ... pointing out to you ... how you are simply sharing your complaints ... and we know a complainer just keeps saying the same thing ... over and over ... and probably has no plans of doing anything different ... but complain.

Again ... watch for it ... it may pop up from time to time ... for your good and for God's Glory ! How to be ... or ... how not to be ???????

:crybaby:

LIsten Jerk, Im responding to casandies post. I am not complaining but you sure are. I am not a crybaby or anything else bad your bad self wants to call me. I am not even being mean, but you sure are. If you can't act right then dont speak at all. Be mad at God all you want for the things he says. Call him a complaining crybaby if thats what you need to do but do not take it out on me. Enjoy your vacation, the sooner you leave the better. You are pissed off at the things God said well go jump down his throat telling him what a complaining crybaby he is and whatever else you need to get off your chest and stay off my case. In the end you wont have any followers, you will become a follower yourself of chirst, instead of wanting followers for yourself. The switcharoo is coming. You will lose all your followers eventually right along with all the other preachers too and there is nothing you can do about it.

I personally do not care who goes to church nor what their belief is today or what denomination they are. To me all denominations are the same....lost. God will make all wrongs right eventually and thats what matters.

No! None of your name calling and downing of me is ever out of your love. Im tired of you taking all your anger against God out on me for the things he said. NOt the things i siad but the things he siad that I only repeated. If you claim to believe God's word then you need to believe all of it not just what suits you and what dont suit you, you trash. NOw i understand you want to defend yourself agaisnt what God said aobut preacher/teachers becuase you are a preacher. Thats only natural. But When God said i will be hated becuase of him he sure hit the nail on the head with that one.

YOu rpm need to chill out becuase nothing of God's word that i repeat in here will ever cause you to lose followers. Your followers are one day gonna stop following you for sure but its becuase of God taking back whats his...not what i post. So to be angry at me helps you none. But either way the outcome is the same.....YOU LOSE

What scripture actually says:

Matthew 7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it. 15 Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

You seem to have mixed two scripture, however, prophecy does state that the shepherds of "Israel" will "prey" on God's chosen.

The "prophecy" scriptures in Ezekiel is about Israel and the dispensation of the Israelites (scattering and dividing) and re-gathering (He will gather them like a Mother Hen)...Christ came afterwards and called Himself a Shepherd, but a 'good' Shepherd and asked Peter to feed His Sheep (taught those He called to be Shepherds).

Ezekiel 34:1 Then the word of the LORD came to me saying, 2"Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel.

(Israel is being discussed)

Ezekiel 34:12"As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day. 13"I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land. 14"I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down on good grazing ground and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.

TCG -- We need to read 'wholly' not in part for understanding (or otherwise believe what your own pastor, Larry Ray Smith (who considered himself a prophet) might offer you without reading fully around it).

You speak down about Christianity here on a Christian site and you think it is not complaining or you find it well?

I do not see any questions here so I am leaving this thread to someone who might offer better counsel here. I do offer this scripture though in regards to the topic 'title' of people changing:

1 Cor 3:16 Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? 17If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. 18Let no one deceive himself. If any of you thinks he is wise in this age, he should become a fool, so that he may become wise.

God Bless.

Casandie, I think the name "isreal" is far beyond your full comprehension at this time as is with most if not all people. I think it would be a good thread though if people didnt write a long long long post about isreal where we have to read forever but rather Just taking one step at a time for all members to easily be able to keep up with and respond to.

I have to go get ready for an appointment this morning so i will be back later.

Judeo-Christianity is what Christianity is. Christians are 'only' graphed in. It doesn't take a long, long post to understand and comprehend, TCG.

Christ referred to Himself as a 'good' Shepherd and trained others in His Way. Your pastor (which he is to you) has misinterpreted scriptures if Larry Ray Smith suggests 'all' pastors are bad (Christ is not a liar which we both agree upon and called Himself a good Shepherd).

Hope your appointment goes well! God is Good!

Casandie can you stop bringing up l ray smith. No preacher is error free and thats just common sense. You seem more hung up on l ray than me. I know you dont like him becuase he disagrees with "christianity" and so do alot of other religious groups. He aint the only one. I like alot of what he teaches yes but he nor any other preacher understands everything. I know that but seems you still need to figure that out. Every preacher has some things right and some things wrong. You beleive the preachers that teach christianity is error free but i know none are error free. I dont agree with a couple of thigns L ray smith talks about but i do agree on alot. I do not agree with any preacher on the planet 100 percent. but you seem to if they teach "christianity" the way you were taught. church goers blindly believe preachers and I dont. Instead of you harping abjout one lousy preacher out of the entire world of them, you should be like me and harp about all of them. I hope that helps you understand better.

As for my appt the waves of my heart is abnormal yet my heart beat is good with good rhythm. So for the abnormal waves she is sending me to a cardiologist.

TCG -- about your appt. I'm sad to hear this and hope the next test will come out better and you will be okay.

About Christianity and Preachers. Most Christians do not believe we know everything (to include preachers). Scriptures say today, we know in 'part,' but one day will know fully (when Christ returns). I think I am repeating myself so will let someone else jump in if they care to.

Suffice to say the part Christians do know is rather unifying. Everyone knows there are parts disagreed upon. I do not worry about those too much personally though if they are not a belief that interferes with one's salvation (of course if I believed the same as you [that all were saved] then I wouldn't care at all about needing certain knowledge, non-denials of Christ, etc.).

Again -- hope your next appt shows better news.

Ya I know crayons. I dont take their medicines. I only went for my physical becuase my regualr MD set me up for a physical. Do you know im 51 yrs old and this was my very first physical. My reason for having an MD is not to prolong my life in this hell hole called earth. Its to make my passing easier when the time comes.
