If anyone wishes to " complain " ... or ... maybe you just like hearing yourself bark ... then please ... feel free to do it here until your heart is content with it. This will be the one and only post I will be making here in this thread ... so again ... go at it. :Hole: ( people may be reading it, but will probably not be listening to it anyway )

There is nothing but darkness in a thread like this so why would you create it?

You don't know? Well perhaps the coffee will awaken you to the reality that you're not the "christian" you claim to be. You have a dark side that you have been trying to candycoat or cover up from others.

I was being helpful not complaining. I asked you a question and you seemed to not have an answer so I felt you needed help.

Complainers remain where they are ... with how they are ... for now.

Time for me to stop ... Amen.

I used to create venting threads in GD and would include whatever minor complaint I held at the time to get the ball rolling...

Not sure I see any 'darkness' in trying to hold complaints to a single thread.

--------------------------

I've been at Church and busy today, so just looking around forums today (I see unorthodoxed forums were busy today) ...

So, it was a 'GREAT' service today! Not a complaint (but the opposite). Our Pastor today actually hit on a topic I posted some time ago in Theo. I might add more as his input was so much more in depth (a simply wonderful worship service today)!

I was delighted to sit with a new member (her and I exchanged phone numbers and will be having lunch together soon).

(also not a vent or complaint -- just sharing what is on my heart today and a couple of today's events).

Thanks for allowing my thoughts here (even though not a complaint). :-p

If you wasn't so rpm crazy, you wouldn't be so blind. Howver I dont believe your blinded by him, I believe your covering up for him because your rpm crazy. Everyone knows the strife that these kind of threads cause and it seems most in here now days wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

TCG -- Do you think I should fear strife when I have none myself nor do I see cause for strife?

My aim is peace.

God Bless.

what in the world has fearing strife got to do with it? No one fears strife but everyone should be agiasnt it since causing stife is against God. Its about the op trying to purposely cause strife between members and thankfully no one fell in his trap. You see casandie, he set his bait all over this site everywhere taking about me being a complainer, then he comes in here and makes this evil thread hoping others would come in here and start downing me too. Your perfect little preacher aint perfect.

Well, again I don't see it as 'strife' to try to hold complains to a single thread.

I wasn't online and came and read the threads and have given my honest view of things here. Nothing more. A lot of MCers have fellowship with RPM here if you look at his 2 week vacation thread he posted (I don't hold any special feelings beyond that which I hold for Crayons or BF as Brothers in the Lord as well).

I just shared my thoughts. I too am glad there is nobody falling for strife if you were correct about anyone's hearts or motives that are not directly stated here. I don't know everyone's intentions nor do I try to guess (I just take things at face value as I read them as I believe we ought to do via scripture [only God can read people's hearts and inner motives]).

I just trust Him with things now (I haven't always I confess). Life is far more peaceful this way (but you don't have to agree with me).

I have to get some work around the house done. Have a great evening if I don't check back in tonight! Holding your appts in prayer.

well I have a complaint and this is the perfect thread for it, hence the title of this thread. I am watching vidoes about the hurricanes and i came across one that really made me mad becuase people need to stop making videos about what the bible says. This is not church. but anyway, i listened to her babble anyway and she siad God does not kill people. Those religious nutts hide all the verses in the bible from the public that they dont want man to see or focus on so they can continue to deceive people. First God sent his son to be murdered/crucified, dont matter the reason, the fact is he did that to his own son. That one verse alone makes her and anyone else who claims God dont kill people a full blown liar. Next it was God , thats right it was GOD, who appointed death to all men for the wages of sin. Death of man happens becuase it was APPOINTED BY GOD period and yes he uses man to accomplish it. But religious folks want to blame it on everything else as if that verse dont exist in the bible.

TCG -- I know you might not be responded to here -- so I am, but please do not call me names. I answer because I care.

Christ held a choice. It was 'sacrifice' not murder.

That said, I do agree with you about the youtube vids/a lot of nuttery (although I can't speak of the one you speak of here). Scriptures say the earth will vomit up on itself as far as disasters are concerned. Groaning and this is just the beginning.

So the Lord warned man and 'yes' the Lord Himself chose 'death' as a penalty of sin. Yet, for many of us we do not fear death (I would just care for those left behind).

I will not likely be able to expound upon things further here. I do understand the Lord 'takes' some early to a better place than this world, TCG. Yet these ones are not murdered, but live in paradise.

So what is missing in what you wrote is this -- Life was appointed by God as well.

I pray for your job search that I read about in GD, but have been quite busy lately. God Bless.

Christ did not have a chioce. Christ prayed for his father God to, "take this cup from me".

Everyone is gonna die casandie, and then everyone will be resurrected to life also.

Its ok if you dont further respond here, i was just venting anyway.

The passage in Matthew actually shows Christ requesting an alternative knowing the suffering in the flesh to come. It reveals Christ's obedience and self sacrifice and indeed a choice. Remember Christ faced temptation by satan who offered Christ all the Kingdoms of the earth.

Matthew 26:37 And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. 38Then He said to them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.”

39He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” 40 Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

42Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.” 43And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy. 44So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. 45Then He came to His disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.”

Matthew 4:7 Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written,

“‘You shall worship the Lord your God
and him only shall you serve.’”

11 Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him.

No it was not a choice. Christ was sent here to do the will of his father and his death and resurrection was part of it.

I imagine this discussion could go into Who one believes God is and become doctrinal (Trinity, modality, etc.)...

But, we just disagree about whether Christ freely gave His life.

yes we fully disagree on whether Christ had a choice and other areas as well, such as trinity, freewill of man, what is means to be reborn, and hell.
