It's Wonderful ... :cloud9:

When the Lord " reveals " Himself to us ... as we live in this life.

============================================================================================================

John 14: 21 ...

Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and REVEAL myself to each of them.

I am reminded of a time back in elementary school when students in my class would talk with each other about our school work, instead of just going to the teacher.

Until Christ is REVEALED to us ... until Godly insight is shared with us ... people can have " distorted " views. I present this here in this forum as a reminder ...

Wait and trust God to " readjust " any view that is distorted. He is able to take care of it ... and we do not have to keep going on and on in trying to " explain " something to someone ... when we can plainly see ...

Christ has not revealed Himself to them ... yet ... on whatever distorted view they may have at this time.

State your point ... and yes ... give an little explanation if you like, but once you see someone has a certain " mind set " ... and you see ... they continue to have the same distorted view over a period of time ... then ... let's simply pray for them ... wait ... and trust God to take care of it.

I do have a tendency to " check in " with others at times ... just to see if there is " any changes " in the views they hold ... but once I see nothing has changed ... I simply accept the fact ... and leave them with God.

I truly believe ... some people find some sort of " comfort " being where they are ... believing as they do ... especially if they have someone they can " keep going on and on " about something.

There are times when people need to be left alone for awhile with God ... where they have no opportunity to " keep going on and on " with something.

Something to Ponder ...

If you think having the correct context of the scriptures, that we cannot follow anyway, is gonna change everything else thats wrong wtih man, well its not. Your missing the bigger picture. We also have to be sinfree and reborn and that will NOT be while we are residing in the physical body.

Thank you TCG ! :2thumbs:

You have now pretty well " summarized " your views ... a " mind set " you have had here for some time. You have let it be known ... it has not changed since you have been here.

Also ... let it be known ... that once a person has a certain " mind set " ... the only option left is to " leave it with God " and to keep the person in prayer. There's no need to go any farther ... unless it's to " check in " to see if there's any change ... but if not ... that's the way it is for now. The person just needs to be " accepted " for where they are now ... and there's no need to " keep going on and on " about it.

And ... as Christians will learn over time ... there's no need to even bring it up again ... unless there has been a change.

TCG ... I ... for one ... don't mind at all to " associate " with you on any topic ... but when it comes to " views " you continue to hold concerning salvation in Christ ... there's no need for anyone to go any farther with it ... until God changes your mind set.

Until then ... there's no need to argue or fuss ... or even discuss ... the views you now hold.

Good talking with ya TCG ... and thanks again for summarizing the views you do hold. We, as Christians, do not share the same the views you have shared here.

Therefore ... I can only pray ... and ask the others here to examine how they have interacted with you ... and especially realize ... that once you have made it known how your MIND IS SET ... there's no need to discuss any of it with you ... until it is evident that you have had a change of mind. Until then ... you are simply stuck with your own views ... some of which are not biblical at all ... and that's speaking the truth in love.

Until then ... we wait and trust God to " change your mind. "

End of discussion ... for now. :Hole:

I can see your mind has not changed either. The only difference is im not waiting for yours to change and you are waiting for mine to change. My guess is that if my mind should change it still wouldn't agree with yours.
