No. 0     Original Topic: Prayers for our member Padriac
By:  CAsandie   Gender: F   Age: 103   on  Apr 12, 2017 at 3:03 PM   Viewed 2977 times
Pat had two surgeries last week in attempt to correct his kidney malfunction, but is currently still on dialysis (they hope the surgeries will get his kidneys working on their own again). Please pray these surgeries work!

In the mist of dialysis he had to take his mother to the hospital and she is currently in the hospital for her emphysema (she never smoked/hereditary). For those who did not know, Pat lost his father a few years back, which is recent. Pat's mother is 83 and as many know Pat has been taking care of her (and previously his father) for many years.

I can't imagine the difficulties of all this 'together.' Pat is sure a strong person though...my heart hurts for him greatly here! He has given me permission to share this update with everyone here on MC (as well as FB where ppl where asking for just a 'hi' and worried as well)!!!!

His computer is down (he will work to be back on soon).

Pat sure appreciates everyone's prayers here!<3

Let's have a good prayer chain going for Pat for when he returns please (I'd like us all to join in prayer please...where two are more are gathered)!

I knew he had lost his dad. Now with his mom so ill, and himself struggling for healing and good health, I can only imagine the heavy load. Please tell him my thoughts are with him and I pray that everyday is in God's control.

Thanks so much for the update.

Heavenly Father ...

Life can come at us like an ocean wave. We never know how high the wave may be or how long it will last. The Good Lord is our surf board !

May we focus on Him ... lay down our life on Him ... and no matter how much water comes over us ... we can ride the wave out with Him.

We can not control the wave, but as the wave rolls ... we trust You, Lord, to bring us to the shore of God's Peace !

Thank You for being with Pat and his family ... as they lean and surf on the everlasting love and care of Jesus Christ !

In Jesus Name ... Amen !

Thank you Kari and RPM ...

Kari -- Pat said he will be getting to fixing his computer soon and will be dropping in. <3

RPM -- We truly cannot control the waves sometimes and for certain the Lord as our Captain can steer us through all things! (beautiful prayer and Amen)!

An update from Pat from FB...he is still on dialysis. If we can as prayer warriors increase our prayers that the surgeries endured might set in, so Pat can come off of dialysis.

Pat, if reading this ... the site is rather slow, but I am certain from the number of views that people do pray (forums being slow is not necessarily an indication of membership numbers).

Who would have thought years ago that our lives would take the curve balls and twists the roads that many have encountered?

Lifting you in solemn prayer and having faith to move mountains.
