No. 0     Original Topic:  Prayer for Dad ...

My Dad is having lower and upper scoping done today ( Feb. 22nd ).

I had to laugh ... he asked if they would use the same tube to do both ... and they told him they would use two separate tubes.

My brother was joking around ... said they may use the same tube ... just pull it out the bottom end ... smack it against the wall a couple of times ... then proceed to the upper end.

Our family likes to joke around and have a good laugh. Seriously, your prayers will be appreciated.

My Dad is just wanting to have everything checked out ... no problems that we know of at this time.

Just got off the phone with Dad ... everything went okay ... found one little polyp and removed it. He will go back on March 13th to see the doctor.

I had to laugh again, I guess he told the doctor to put on a face shield before doing the lower end scoping.

Thanks again for the prayers. :wavey:

It might have cost him a lot. He could have got all these done freely if he had declared that he is an IS man at the airport!

Glad your Dad is okay, RPM! The removal of the polyp (a good thing as these can become cancerous).

Blessings

Glad he had this done... it's such an invasive test as far as personal.... but has saved many lives as far as what it's screening for.

Yea on good results !

Just like the person who walked by the mirror said ....

" That's another way of looking at it. "

Thank you CAsandie and Kari ... your thoughts and prayers were appreciated.

My Dad did not want to wait around at the hospital to see the doctor. They told him he would have to wait for about two hours ... but he did find out about having one polyp removed.

He goes back on March 16th to see the doctor ... hopefully everything will be okay.

It has been my experience to understand any problem to the extent possible before we meet an auditor, a lawyer and doctor. I have seen people approaching them ignorantly to a great extent to become sacrificial lambs! :twocents:
