I'm up to episode 51 now, it's kinda crazy, some of gets long but if you wait, it will get exciting again, what I don't get is that they keep going back to making meth, crazy.

I'm not much into these " new " shows ... actually have a channel where we can watch all of the older ones ... like MASH, Green Acres, Hogan's Heroes, just to name a few.

I am not much for such programming to begin with, but this was surely one I developed no real interest in.

Yes! We get up early in the morning and watch Petticoat Junction and My Three Sons. Sunday afternoon we watch I Love Lucy, The Love Boat and the Andy Griffith Show. Now THIS was television!

We have a DVR ... so we " record " all of these shows ... then in the evening ... when there's nothing else to watch on TV ... we can watch what we have recorded and zip through all of the commercials.

I agree ... THIS ... is TV !

We even enjoy listening to the opening theme songs. Now days, the new shows don't even have much of an opening song.

Glad to hear you guys have ME TV ! I guess I never thought of it as being a national network.

RPM, the only downside with MeTV, is that a lot of the shows are shown on certain station affiliates. For instance, they advertise The Carol Burnett Show (which we dearly loved) on at 10:00 at night, but when we turn to it on MeTV, they're showing something from Prime time. Last summer, I was down at Panama City Beach for a few days and that Sunday, they aired Mayberry RFD, but on our cable, it's The Andy Griffith Show. I guess it all depends on who your cable provider is.
Thanks for responding back to me. You're the only one who does.

Judy -- Have I welcomed you to forums yet? Please forgive me if I have not, as I've not been on MC as much lately (or reading as much). WELCOME! (if I already welcomed you -- then you deserve double the welcome)!

It is so nice to see a new member posting (the forums are terribly slow right now, but hopefully will pick up)!!!!!

As far as METV ... that and COZY TV seems to be a favorite of my Mom's who is still young (I'm 51 / I only have 103 as my age, because I am here for forums only and I get less courting by putting this age). I have to say when over my Mom's cleaning or cooking, I love 'old' TV shows (the shows were 'truly' family oriented and had good lessons rather than mere entertainment it seems). Particularly Little House on the Prairie (what a joy to watch)!

Blessings -- again, glad you are here contributing in forums Judy!

CASandie: Thank you for your warm welcome. I was here a few years ago under another username, but I left because certain people (not you) had issues with me, so I was for the most part, largely ignored. I'm so glad you and Radio Preacher Man have welcomed me on here. Thanks again!

Awwww...I'm sorry you had a bad experience a few years ago...but, I'm glad you are giving MC another chance...

Me, I'm okay with being ignored (i.e. try making a Christian post in Biblical/Theo). It's when the assault rifles come out that it sort of gets on my nerves around here. :duck:

Hope to see you posting more, Judy! <3

I will probably stay away from those discussions even if I have something to bring to the table. I will stick with topics that are lighthearted and won't cause any arguments.
