Does that sound like an onymoron to you as well?

What songs do you like that aren't "necessarily" Christian, but might be created by Christians? (we've discussed everything else after all--just thinking of something that might not have been shared/discussed before).

Thanks RPM. Do you have a favorite song (that might be deemed secular) sang by a Christian artist that you enjoy and can share here?

How about " You Light Up My Life " ... sang by Debbie Boone ( not sure if Debbie is a Christian or not ) ... but I like the song. When I hear the song ... I think of how the Good Lord " lights up " our life.

My Mom "loved" that song, so I heard it a lot.

She is Christian, but a liberal Christian. Her husband a Pastor I believe (or was it her Father)? Here is the song:

My ... Ooooooooooooh ... My ! I haven't heard that song for a long time.

Thank you CAsandie for posting it ... I really enjoyed listening to it.

Did you notice the small picture popping up in the top right corner of the video ... right toward the end of it ???

Was it a picture of Jesus Christ ? ( looked like it was to me )

I appreciated the " blessing " of hearing the song again.

RPM -- Thank you for enjoying it. . As mentioned before on my Mom's side we are Native American (my Dad's side are immigrants), so this was near and dear to me as the Native ppl learn and are taught about God's Grace (although the settlers did take lives and murder -- they also gave the Native ppl something greater than this life).

At what number (at the bottom of the video) do you say you saw a photo of Christ's image pop up?

Yes ... I wanted to come back and let you know the Amazing Grace Cherokee video was " awesome " as well.

Sometimes a song can minister to people's heart more so than anything else we can say ... amen ? Amen !

On the Debbie Boone video ... when you come to the " 3:25 " time slot ... a picture pops up in the top right hand corner of the video ... and it looks like a picture of Jesus Christ. Does it pop up on yours ???

Again, appreciate the videos and songs ... I'm sure the Good Lord can touch people's hearts when they watch and listen.

Another artist with songs I love is Jewel. Jewel dedicated one CD (named Spirit) to her Mom who is a Christian. Jewel's Christian Mom believed in her talent so much that she put all she had into her daughter's career to the point where they were homeless for a bit...anyway this is a song I love (the message in here I believe so very accurate and the video wonderfully executed) -- :
