No. 0     Original Topic:  Psalms 67

I read this Psalms yesterday and thought about it, it has a positiveness about it, pointing to praising the Lord, no condemning in it, just exhorting the readers that with praise and joy to have fellowship with Jesus. Verse 2 seemed to stand out, 'That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.'

After reading it at lunch yesterday, I wanted to praise the Lord and feel the excitement the writer was expressing in his words telling everyone to 'praise the Lord'. I wonder the state of mind he was feeling at the time, obviously he was lifted up in the Lord, what a wonderful state of mind.

[1] God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.
[2] That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
[3] Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
[4] O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
[5] Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
[6] Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
[7] God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

Thank you Rick........

Love the word: Selah.....Ps.67:1.

Once heard, yrs ago.......Selah meant "think about this."

"God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah."

God's mercy
God's blessing
God's favor

Think about this.........:coffeenpc:

Yes ... isn't it beautiful ... when the Lord gives us a lift ? When the circumstances in our life has not changed, but a change took place in us.

Now, the old hymn " Love Lifted Me " is coming to mind.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm ! Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ! UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM !
