Very well could be.

No man knows the time, but His children should recognize the season.
I've not had the liberty to study prophesy until the last couple years.
I didn't 'see' the rapture of the church until now and the odd thing is that now that I see it I can't read long in old testiment or new without being reminded of it.
That is not to say that Christians will not go through much tribulation, that is promised! But we go through nothing without His strength and comfort and direction.

I'm thinking of the interesting 'Left Behind' books and movies and although thought provoking and entertaining I see things playing out a bit differently.
I don't think our fleshly bodies will disappear leaving a questionable pile of clothing. I don't even think enough people... Pastor's, Evangelists included... will be caught up to get much attention at all. At the very most it will be considered odd to loose a few from many churches at the same time. Also, satan will be so busy working his plan that almost everyone will be caught up in the exciting worldly events in absolute wonder. What time will there be to ponder a few dead souls who mysteriously died?

What does it mean to seek Him with all our hearts?
What is salvation if not needing Him more than the air we breath each and every second of the day?
(eternal life is this: to KNOW Him)

Some will be saved but only as through fire.
Wide is the path to destruction.

Jesus never said his children would be raptured out of the tribulations, Matthew 24 and Luke 21 talk about this:

Matt 24
[29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
[30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
[31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
[32] Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
[33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
[34] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

[44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
[45] Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
[46] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

The whole chapter talks about it, also Luke 21, but nowhere did Jesus say the elect will be taken out of it,
Luke 21
[34] And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

But no one knows the day or hour, only the Father in heaven

Yes, the season has begun. A shift has begun. The Lord is raising up his Church. He is preparing and transitioning those who have been through the fire. He has been bringing signs, miracles and wonders back to his Church. Prophecies are being fulfilled and new prophecies are being spoken. This is a time for those who have had prophecy spoken over them to go back to that prophecy and see what it is the Lord has promised and is bringing to completion.

This is a time for true believers to become more serious in their relationship and walk with the Lord. As others see the Lord providing for his people while they are in lack, they will look to those of us who have provision and will come to know the Lord.

It is important that believers link up with those who are speaking under the anointing and are moving along this path of revival and restoration for the Church. kcm.org is at the center of revival which was spoken by the Lord and is available worldwide.

Being prepared is not hoarding and saving goods. Being prepared is being one with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; being intimately acquainted with the Lord and the Word of Truth; being filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit; its trusting the Lord for all that he has to offer us as his heirs.

Excellent points; although I see nothing wrong in having our storehouses full to be used as He sees fit.
As long as we are not ignoring the current needs of those He places in our path in the meantime...

Adding to that, those who prepare for future physical needs (storing food in this case), might be able to help the physical needs of others during times of famine, financial collapse, and disasters.

'Prepping' need not be only for oneself or family. Many blessings await for those with a generous heart and stored goods during times of troubles, but you have to wise first during times of abundance!
