No. 0     Original Topic:  Remodeling Work
By:  RadioPreacherMan   Gender: M   Age: 54   on  Nov 24, 2012 at 9:40 PM   Viewed 25061 times
We are in process of " remodeling " the inside of our house ... which led me to think about how God does His remodeling work in us. To be Christian
means to me ... " to let Christ in " ... and we will experience His presence as we welcome Him in. He will then begin His work ... by removing things ... or even removing people ... in order to accomplish His work in us. Tearing whatever needs to come out, carrying it all away,
cleaning, and bringing in the new !

Painful ... YES ! Hurtful .. INDEED ! We learn to " be-still " as He
lovingly and patiently works within us. We will go through this a number of times in our lifetime. Of course, He will know when it is time to show off His work in us. He will bring others around ... even new people.
Every difficulty in life ... as we look to Him and trust Him ... will lead to something new ! Be encouraged to keep waiting on Him ... trusting Him ... and in time ... you and others will see the results of His " remodeling work."

Always a Friend in Christ ... RadioPreaherMan

Well, the construction guys are here again today. They are finishing up our bedroom ... almost ready to paint. It's amazing how you can take a
room ... as it was ... and now see it ... as it is ... a big difference. So ... to know God can take any of us ... as we are ... and move us along
to where He wants us to be ... is amazing ! It has nothing to do with our intellegence or what we may think ... it all has to do with how He can arrange things in such a way for us to experience His love, comfort, joy, peace, correction, discipline, etc.. Which leads to a question I would like to throw out to anyone who reads this posting ...

Wow!!! RPM -- Thanks for bringing up your first thread here on MC (Renee from IN is posting in this thread. She was the sweetest woman I ever disagreed with on theological matters and I loved her and wonder about her often when on MC).

Your membership: it is almost your 5 year anniversary here on MC! I can only give you a heart felt: "thanks" for sticking around.

May you and your wife have a blessed weekend (I hope to be busy resting myself)!

(and on the thread topic, I praise Him for His remodeling work on me personally and I think it safe to say that most Christians if throwing aside self righteousness would not object to wearing a t-shirt stating 'under His Construction.' ... I wonder if there are t-shirts that say this/I've not seen one)?

Hi Judy,

I do not know. It appears she posted until 2012 (I was off the site then myself). I only know that Renee sure captured my heart though as a person (although just a person from a website) as someone I admired and respected (although not sharing the same theological beliefs at all). A truly sweet and kind lady.

I pray she might post and let us know.

I have prayed for her through the years and wonder myself though, Judy. <3

Actually, Renee posted fairly consistently until Sept. 30, 2013. That was her last post. For the last 4 years she has been silent, with nary a post.
