I wrote this. It doesn't rhyme but hey it is the thought that counts

Define Love

Love!
Define love
What words could you use to describe the undescribable?
It is intangible like wind and pure like shining diamond
How easily it could be said LOVE and how often do you mean it when you say it?
It can be a matter of habit
It can be a matter of oppinion or taste
I love the cake... I love this weather... I love my kids
Different occasions for different types of love
We love our parents, our kids, our pets
We love food, clothes, love shopping, reading
We use the word LOVE way too often and the meaning of the word changes
Depending on the context in which you use it
I love ice cream is not the same as I love my child or I love my spouse
Love
Love that makes you fly up high in your heart and touch the face of God
It brings you closer to God - Agape Love - The Love that never fails
The breath of life that gives you strenth to go on, healing and restoring
When your soul is like the arid desert - God's spirit is like the water
That imparts life and makes the Garden of Eden out of Arid Desert
Then another kind of love
The profoundly tender passionate affection for another person
The love that makes you want to stand on top of highest mountain
And shout to the world - this is the love of my life and i am happy
Alas - in real life that is but a dream
Often
Often we are just chasing rainbows
Lucky is the person whose dreams would come true
May God richly bless you and keep you safe
When you are in the midst of storms and crushing waves in the sea of life
May God be your strenth when you are weak
May God be your water when you thirst for love and compassion
May God give you the love of your life on Earth
The human being who would be with you no matter what
And reflect God's love by loving you

Amen

That is a lovely poem SH.
Poetry does not have to rhyme
Some do
Some don't.

Love is not destroyed Öin the heart of the saved
Itís destroyed by the works of man
Who lie.. Deceive.. and betray

Love is not weakenedÖ in the heart that God has made
Love is destroyed by corruption
When deception has had itís way

Bruised and blackened ,,,is the heart betrayed.
That is itís condition
Some things never change

Enjoy!

REFLECTIONS

Reflection and shadows, how do they assimilate? Could it be light from the sun and how it captivates. Ever reflecting what the sun reveals, it shows forth the object, it makes itís appeal. Truly revealing the object as it reflects, all the intensity of the sunís radiance.

We too reflect the SON with unveiled face that shines brighter and brighter through His Glory and Grace, that we maybe the light of the world shining ever brighter until, the morning star arises and is revealed.

Shining brighter and brighter thank God it is not concealed.
Oh the dawning of a new day. Oh how I wait for the night to pass away. But even in the night His light ever shines bright, for we reflect His light as the moon reflects in the night the wonderful light of the sun.
